You need to change the day of your updates to a weekend and make them monthly. Then you would have the time when schools are not functioning to thoroughly check your updates on the live system to see how it will affect the schools data. This is especially important for grading. You should be looking at your schools grading cycles to see when they will be closing grading and going into the review process that way you don't make changes to grading at that time.
Perhaps the timing within the yearly calendar could be considered? While schools operate on different schedules the months of August and January are inconvenient times to release major updates to Education Management Academics module as these are the two crunch times for scheduling and January is critical for grades - transcript preparation, etc. Thank you for considering this.
How is this a resolution? We need to go into every class and launch the gradebook before the grades are visible? This should be done on your end.

The grades issue is not actually resolved. My Gradebook grades list is not populating and students/parents cannot see all grades.
Hello, thank you for the idea and we apologize for the inconvenience that interruptions cause when something is released with an error in it. We do strive to release without incident always, and have both automated and unit testing practices in place but sometimes things do slip through especially with more complex areas of the app and we work as quickly as we can to resolve. The issue with the grades not being visible was resolved and status update is here: https://status.blackbaud.com/incidents/yx8ws23d7b4l
Well, You should really think about it because honestly your weekly implementations are causes havoc for your schools.
Or thoughly test updates before they’re released.
Thank you for this suggestion! We are currently dealing with re-registration and students cannot see their grades.
