Its frustrating to have so many clicks to get to different profile views of a user, particularly a student. There should be a way if you have permission to see a different profile (academic profile, core profile etc) to switch between them once you are in the profile, like a tier above the tabs that swapped which tabs were visible.
Right now you have to switch personas and then navigate to the profile.
The new 360 profile has a hub view, accessed by clicking on the student name. This allows you to switch between Core, Candidate and Student profiles.
So I just wanted to ping this. I would argue the 360 profile is incomplete in that the Faculty persona view of a student's profile (via directory) still shows things that a faculty member can't see in the other views. Is there a way to add that view into the 360 hub? Or enable the academic view to see the other things? The ones that come to mind are:
"Files" under "Progress" in the Faculty view
Assignments tab
Learning Progression tab
Thanks, this overall works well, although it would be more efficient if you could skip clicking on the name and just see those options right from the profile.
More importantly, this doesn't seem to link to the version you see when you access contact card via the directories in the faculty view. Any chance this could happen?
Saw the new academic profile. I hope that we see the quick switching either between views, or my preferred idea would be all tabs shown regardless of how you get there (ie the tabs from core would be visible if you accessed the profile from academics and vice versa. Or if you accessed it via contact card too)
Oh I'm excited to see this is planned. Another option is just whichever way you get to the Profile, you can see all the tabs you have permission for. That may be a lot of tabs, but that works too. That would be even less clicks
