When manually adding course requests (Academics > Scheduling > Requests and schedules > Overview > Course requests > More actions > Enter requests), it is possible to search for the course by name and ID on the first tab (1. Courses); however, it is only possible to search by the name of a course when filtering students on the second tab (2. Students). The "students in particular course(es) last year" filter only allows a user to search by a course name and not its ID. It would be helpful to be able to search by both name and ID since some courses have the same name but different IDs.
