If an attendance field is left blank for a student and the modal is saved, these fields will be automatically populated with Present, Attended Class, or equivalent that the school sets. The school should be able to decide what automatically populates in the attendance field if a teacher leaves it blank for a student. There is a very misleading video that currently exists from Blackbaud that states this is an option but it is not. The video is titled " Blackbaud Education Management - Record Attendance Updates".
