We allow our parents to update their emails on their contact cards. Please allow us to add custom text to this window, similarly to how we can add custom text to the emergency contact update window.
REASON:
Without fail, every time a parent updates their email address, they assume it updates their username, which is not a wild assumption to make. They are upset when they can no longer login because they are entering their new email as their username.
I would like to add text explaining that updating their email address does not in fact update their username. I would love to be able to link the instructions for how they can update their username.
While this may seem like a once in a blue moon issue - our parents are constantly updating their emails.
It would be great for both Parents and Staff. To bring awareness how this "simple" change has a large impact.
It would be great to be able to alert parents to this fact in-product!
