Limit Attendance Hub school level to employee's Access>Employment>School Level

The "Attendance Manager" role gives too much access. We need a more limited role, that only gives access to Attendance for the Attendance Officer's School Level. Right now, the Attendance Hub defaults to "Entire School". It should default to the user's School Level, and not show any levels that user doesn't have access to.

    Admin response

The Attendance Manager role can be limited down to specific school levels by editing the member within the role. This can be found by going to Core > Security > Roles > Manage Attendance Manager role > Members tab > Access filter in the context menu next to the necessary staff member.

The filter from this role is respected in the Attendance Hub.

Hi Art! Confirmed with the team they should be working everywhere except the Add modals. I could not duplicate what you are seeing with my test database. Please file a case with Support so we can get exact details and determine what is causing the difference between what you see and what we see in the test environments!

Thanks for the screenshot Art! The Add attendance modals are two spots we are updating to respect the filter (those were modal that existed before the Hub so did not automatically get all the improvements). I believe the other two spots should have been updated to respect it so I will check in with my team on those two to determine what is going on.

Au contraire, mon freire. That may have been the intention. The reality is that even after narrowing the Member filter access to one School Level, the employee still sees other school level stats and students.
