When composing an official note you can enter a future/past date. There should be an option to have that date appear in the note! It seems it only appears in the official notes administrative view, or when printed on transcripts and report cards. This is odd. Teachers get confused when sending a note that, say, has to do with a planned future absence. They use the date picker tool and that information is not able to be included in the email to recipients. (the date written DOES appear)
