Teachers (and department chairs) sometimes accidentally change grades while viewing the gradebook. (For example: I accidentally hit backspace and erased a student's grade while I was viewing another teacher's gradebook. I had no idea what the grade was before I pushed backspace and had to ask the teacher to reenter the grade.) It would be good if the teachers had the ability to LOCK a gradebook column once they were finished grading the assignment.
