We are sending out permission forms for field trips, but you can't use preferred first name only. Firstname (Legal) is required/locked. I don't want this and don't feel like it should be forced upon me. I understand for more official forms we'd need the legal first name, but for these less-important forms i'd prefer to use Nickname/preferred first name. Our workaround is to use a custom field, but the manual intervention required to keep that list up to date has proven difficult. Thank you for considering.
