Bulk Generate Report Cards by Grade without needing Last Name Range
I would like to be able to generate Report Cards by the entire grade level. Right now, you must select a last name range. So for example, when we want to print report cards for the entire Upper School, 20 separate reports must be generated (four grades multiplied by five last name ranges).

At the end of every reporting period (we have 8), I form PDF files for each grade and print a paper copy for a few administrators. This used to take about 15 minutes total. It now takes me over an hour to create the PDF files and then I have to combine them into one for the grade. This would seem to require a very simple fix that obviously a lot of people want. And it's a feature that is available on every program I have ever used.
The way I currently get around this is by having advisory groups for each grade and for the whole school. Then I can go to the Grading tab in the Advisory group and run all the report cards or transcripts at once. The problem with doing this for Transcripts, however, is that they have the "Unofficial" watermark" so you can't run official transcripts in one bath unless you edit them afterward and remove it.
This would be very helpful. We need the ability to print for the whole school at once, an entire grade level (for end of the year filing), or by advisor.

Yes! Please enable filtering by grade/grad year. Ability to select multiple filters would be so helpful. For example, if I want to select all grades or 2 of 4 grades or a single grade. Also, ability to select other filters, such as custom fields.
Would love to generate a whole grade level or in our case a whole lower, middle, or upper school without needing to group by names etc first. Hope this happens!
Simple, efficient, smart - seems like a very logical (and prudent) change to make. Would make my life much easier.
It would also be great if we could generate an updated report card based on a class or teacher for just those students in the class instead of having to go thru each grade level and the alpha selection.
I agree. It takes forever to print. Also, if you want to print by advisor, you have to choose five ranges for each advisor.
I agree with Pam - the ability to generate the whole school at once would be good, but at a minimum an entire grade level as Erica requested.
It would beneficial to have the option of generating "whole school" batches of report cards.
