In Report Card Builder, there is no way to preview what it looks like
other than asking Whipple Hill support to generate a pdf of a fake
report card for an existing student on the WH backup server. Save us all
time with a preview button!
This has been implemented with the 7/24/19 release for Student Information System. In both the new Report Card Builder and the new Transcript Builder, a Preview option is available without having to leave the template setup.
We just implemented onRecord, and I also have this significant problem that we've configured all of our report cards and grading setup but have no way to verify that it is correct without any grades in the gradebook. Obviously, once grades start getting in the gradebook, it starts to become more difficult to change any setup errors. I'm very worried that I will need to be troubleshooting these problems the week that report cards are due to go out. A preview is extremely important!
I have worked with Education Edge for years, and have ALWAYS been able to preview documents before they are sent out. This preview option is a MUST. And its hard to believe this wasn't developed in the first place.
Been a long time since this was posted - has there been any consideration by the Development team. For those of us first starting up with onRecord, it's a bit nerve-wracking to wait to see what issues may be lurking until we actually need to produce and distribute the Report Cards.
PLEASE!!! Absolutely needed

This should be standard on report cards and transcripts.
