Please add functionality to change a transcript for a student to display as Graduated with the date before the actual date of the graduation and not actually graduating the student.
I had an issue where I needed contracts for college but it said the students were expected to graduate before they really did.
Yea I would prefer if we could add the actual date instead of just month/year. The colleges over here want the exact date on the transcripts, and they want the transcripts before the actual graduation date.
Hi Sheila, Same thing happened to me. I asked support to change the Graduationn date in Sept or Nov to May to June and somehow they recently reverted. I've had to add a text box to the transcript and not use the graduation date field in the block. Which is not efficient since we are having to update the dates for each graduation class before they are printed or we have to separate out each transcript for each grade level.
One thing I don't understand is I have copies of past transcripts that have the June month on them for expected graduation, and yet my dates in Core where 8/1 - 7/31. (I had the same dates for 13 yrs.) Now all of a sudden this year, my transcripts have July 2021 as the expected date, and yet BB Support tells me nothing changed. If I want the June 2021 date for transcript, I have to change the date in Core then remember to change the date again after I graduate the seniors to finish out the rest of the year. This is ludicrousness! Having to play with dates only opens up the way for error. There has got to be a better way. And I stick with the ascertain, SOMETHING HAS CHANGED and it is not for the better!
It also pulls the "expected graduation" date from the end date of the academic year in Core which for us is 7/31/19. During our implementation, we were told when we setup academic years to make sure that they do not overlap and that they have no gaps between years, so we have them set August 1 to July 31, but now it appears that the expected graduation date for all of our students is July 31 which is not correct.
Additionally, it would be good to also have other options available to edit this field. If a student completes all credits, and would like 'Completion Date: xx/xx/xx instead of 'Graduation Date'
