Flexibility in the nurse's office to develop and utilize appropriate medical forms is highly underestimated. Being able to see different groups (candidates, incoming student, student, etc.) and work with other departments to develop corresponding forms would make workflow and cohesiveness between departments much more fluid and efficient.
Need this in Higher Ed as well. We are having the issue where the nurse cannot assign health forms to "candidates" students who have been offered a seat in the next class but haven't accepted their enrollment. She can only assign if they are "incoming students" who have accepted their enrollment and been pushed to "incoming student" by Admissions. This causes delays in getting the forms out to the students and being able to return them by their deadlines.
Any information if this is being considered or not? My nurse would like to start entering this information (like Athletic Clearance) as soon as the students are enrolled. Otherwise she just has to wait and wait until we make them "students", it wastes time for her.
In our case it's because it's not the nurses who take care of purchasing the insurance for the incoming students. It's an administrative task. They could produce a list if possible. I wish that the insurance part of the medical part could be accessed by some staff members! The nurses need to have this information but so does the administration. Very frustrating. I can't even create a list to export. The purchase of this insurance is coordinated by the school so that we verify if the student has any other insurance. It has nothing to do with being a private information as the health of the student needs to be.
Allowing Nurses to collect and enter the date of a physical as they are received would be beneficial instead of having to wait for the year to be turned over.
Need to print medical cards in bulk (e.g., by grade) when they are incoming students, this is critical for us.
Ability to Upload student medical data to Incoming Students, like Immunizations.

Also the ability to pull the medical history of past students or alumni.
My nurse just asked for this as well.
