I would love this feature. We had to set up some custom grade plan groups for the one year our school was in lockdown due to Covid, and will likely never use those grade plan groups again. Having them appear in the Grading Setup > School Year Setup window confuses anyone that I try to teach Grading concepts to.

Having this option cleans up the Filters and makes it easier for the users to select the correct grade plan from a list of current ones. We had an issue with a course and its grade plan. It turned out that when the course was set up the grade plan chosen was one no longer in use. If the inactive ones could be hidden this wouldn't have happened.
