Because we do not have unexcused absence allowed we do not use the category. However we can not remove it's content types from our selection list. Please give us the option to hide either the category in its entirety or the the content type in the category.
We should be able to delete an unwanted attendance reason after we've moved all the entries to a different reason. Deleted attendance should not keep us from inactivating a reason or entering a snow day or early closing on the daily schedule. Attendance should not be hard coded.
Please fix this. We do not use absent unexcused for reasons that work for our school, but we can't get faculty to stop using it, so it creates inconsistent records & therefore, issues, so we are constantly having to go in & fix this. Please allow us the autonomy to disable this, or at least edit.
