We allow students to course select once they have re-enrolled for the new school year. It would be great if once the parent signed the contract and paid the re-enrollment fee, the course requests automatically opened for that student so they could complete their selections for courses.
This is essential. We don't want students who haven't submitted a contract to submit a course request. How do you all exclude students from submitting the course request since this isn't available?
This seems like a no brainer. There should be some control at the school level to not allow students that are not enrolled or re-enrolled to request courses. If the school is trying to determine enrollment numbers in classes on the Course Request matrix screen, the numbers can be inflated by current students who aren't committed to returning the following year making it difficult to plan when to add sections or not or when to cancel classes or not due to these numbers.
I am not as concerned with course requests being turned on right away, but I would love that re-enrollment was a require to select course requests. Students who have not re-enrolled should not be able to submit course requests.
