Right now, courses stack under Schedule & Performance when they begin and end at the same time or when the schedule blocks overlap.  We have some teachers who teach courses in both the Middle School and Upper School.  If one division goes on assembly schedule, it changes the teacher's view of their schedule.  Side-by-side courses would allow teachers to see their schedule blocks and attendance buttons concurrently.
