A school should have the option to select a default year when opening tuition management.

When Blackbaud rolls out the next school year in September or October, this future school year defaults when tuition management is opened. We should be able to set our own default so that tuition management always opens to the current school year, or have Blackbaud set the default to always open up the current school year and not the future year.

Hi All! We plan to implment a way for schools to be able to roll over to the new school year on YOUR schedule AND be able to determine the default log in year for the admins as your school! We are currently working through the details for this and should have it released in the coming months! Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, this is just another frustrating oversight by people who don't use the software and aren't actually creating it to be helpful for their customers.

Completely agree plus Blackbaud rolls it forward too early anyways. We often have to make various changes, and then we have to duplicate those same mapping changes to the next year. It's a huge pain.

I absolutely agree. We want to be as efficient as possible and that wastes time.

Having the default year be the next school year makes absolutely no sense whatsoever - whose idea is this? Please make it so that the school year selected is sticky and stays to whatever it is when the user signs off the system. Please.

I totally agree. It's a royal pain to change the school year every morning.
