This school year (24/25) we switched over to FE NXT in BBTM. Unfortunately, we cannot have the Billing Entry automatically post to NXT because our school utilizes Project Codes, and the system puts one project code for the whole journal entry (the debit and the credit), instead of the project code belonging to an account number.

The work around is for us to switch back over to FE when we want to export. It would be helpful if we had options with NXT once FE is no longer available.

The Tuition Management Accounting Team recommended development of the product to make the API send over an “open” batch, which would allow schools to make edits in BBTM before the entries are posted to FE: NXT. The sooner this enhancement can be created, the more likely we are to utilize all aspects of NXT .
