For families receiving financial aid or other discounts, it’s difficult to determine the correct balance due (or remaining balance due) for specific fees (like tuition) when discounts reduce the total tuition amount for the year. This is especially challenging for families with multiple children who want to pay fees for one student, with one or more discounts (e.g., a senior), before paying for the other children.

Including discounts in custom allocations would make payment processing more accurate and aligned with the system’s automatic allocation logic.
