The only way to create a draft and not publish it until finalized is to post date it and find it in the filtered "future" entries. It would be great to have a "Save & Close" option to create drafts of something that is not yet ready to be made...0

Enable checklist bulk update to Requested
Since "Requested" is a checklist option, you should be able to bulk update a checklist to requested but currently only waived and complete are allowed because those complete the checklist step0
