Have Discussions & Assessments generate assignment notifications
Currently no notification is generated when teachers create either a discussion or an assessment, nor is a change in assignment notification created either. Both of these are assignments and should created these notification for students.0

Ability to filter out specific items form a calendar when pulling the feed
When trying to sync your personal schedule calendar, there can be labels for what day it is displaying here. I would like the option to have these filter out when trying to pull the feed as it can be hard to use on busy google calendars.0

Have a default assignment type
Our teachers report that 90% of the assignments they are posting are Homework. They would like to be able to set that as the default type of assignment, and only change it when they need to. They believe this would save time.2

Add the option to include image in news article RSS feed
In the RSS feed, please enable the option to include the first image attached to a news article. Had the option for years on our previous websites and they feed our app. the images missing from the RSS feed now are glaring.0
