When I click on an assignment and see all of the students on the left with their grades, I would like to be able to have the option to click here for missing/incomplete/late/etc, rather than waiting for the text pane to show up.  It would also make it easier to deselect once assignments are in.

When I click on a student, it would be nice to see the comment for their progress grades on the screen, rather than waiting for the text pane to show up, as well.
