Have a way, maybe the grade in a different color, to show that students have incomplete assignments for that class.
When viewing the grade for a class there should be some sort of indication as to whether or not the student has all their work in or not. Maybe red if there is missing/incomplete work and black or green coloring if they have all their work in2
