Feature Needed to Let Teachers Edit Attendance After Academic Day

Currently BlackBaud has it setup where teachers can only modify attendance within the same day. After that, it's the Attendance Manager's responsibility. I get far too many email requesting edits. According to BlackBaud the only way to grant teachers access to change attendance anytime is to add the attendance manager roll to their profile. I think this is a bit extreme. There should be an option in the "Attendance Setup" tab to allow teachers access to make changes anytime.

    With the January 2024 release, attendance managers can now define the number of hours (0-8760) that teachers/faculty have to edit attendance for a class meeting. This setting is available in the Attendance Setup > Record Method.

    I agree that this is sorely needed. Blackbaud needs to be told again and again that the Higher Ed solution is NOT K-12. Academic faculty need to have access to something like attendance, rather that having either all access or their hands held.
