Prevent students or other selected users from removing their profile information from directories

We had a student remove her profile from view and switched to display name only in the directories, which prevented teachers from easily contacting her. It would be nice to add a feature to disallow the student role from removing or changing profile information.

The school needs to be able to control whether users can change these settings or not. Please let the school make this decision.
Definitely a must, this can be done but was not suggested to us during implementation and became a time consuming and embarrassing thing to fix.
Please do not allow students to be able to prevent teachers from viewing their contact information.
