If a parent inadvertently selects the wrong payment plan in their contract (or simply changes their mind after selecting it), they are unable to go back and edit the selection. It cannot be edited at the school's admin level, either (even Blackbaud cannot edit it, according to a support rep). At the very least, the school's admin (or IT) team should be able to edit it on the back end without having to generate a replacement contract.
Are you referring to contracts integrated with Tuition Management or Blackbaud Billing?
This is a super time-consuming process, to remove, add, and generate a new contract for every student whose parents chooses the wrong payment plan before submitting their contract. It locks the payment plan, so we have to delete the contract, add a new contract, and generate it. The other issue is if the contracts are set for reminders to go out after a certain # of days after the generation date, then that reminder countdown starts over.
When the contract requires both parents' signatures, the system used to allow users to edit the payment plan before the contract was fully signed or submitted. This feature has been removed. Please bring it back.
