Drop down for Prefixes on admission application

We would like to be able to use drop downs instead of text fields for the prefix and suffix fields in the onBoard application for admission.

Is Blackbaud ever going to consider this? It would be an obvious improvement, and be consistent with other BB software (ex. RE)!

Sorely needed, for data integrity and addressing consistency!

There's so much unnecessary work cleaning up incorrect/inconsistent prefixes inputted by users. Seems like a no-brainer to implement this, and other Blackbaud solutions have prefix tables.

Why has this not been put under consideration? The "prefixes" that are entered, although entertaining require additional data scrubbing that could be alleviated if having a drop down was an option.

Definitely critical and a great time-save for lean admissions teams!

This is critical for clean data!

Also, there's an identical idea posted, with 9 votes, so they need to be merged:

The ability to have a drop-down for prefix information

Agreed with these comments. We use Cored and RE with integration between the two and this is causing issues to multiple departments.

How can prefix only be a text field? It needs to be a drop-down!!

This really needs to be done.  We've only been using Applications through onBoard for a couple weeks and we get all kinds of random data in this field.

Also, this should be a drop down on the Core User Profile and everywhere else in the database.
