When you go to onBoard > Process > Manage Contracts there should be a way to bulk remove the contracts instead of having to remove each contract one at a time.
Yes, this is ridiculous.
It's ridiculous that this isn't an option (apparently it was before a software update - see here...not sure how BB justified this as an acceptable consequence of an update). Even if contracts aren't generated, its very confusing for our Tuition/Admissions staff to see 2 contracts on a student's profile because one was assigned in error to large groups of the student body. We're supposed to go in and manually delete each one individually?
Also makes contract lists harder to work with - have to make separate lists to exclude those mistakenly assigned contracts.
In general, any time there's a potential need for bulk editing anywhere in the K-12 software, it should be available.
It is INSANE that this feature does not exist. Just found out today after assigning two different contracts to SEVEN HUNDRED AND FOURTY EIGHT accepted students. Then I was informed that the tuition information had changed, so could I change the contracts?
Since you can't edit a contract once it's been assigned, I assumed I could BULK delete them, since I was able to BULK assign them! Found out I could not! Blackbaud support says there is nothing I can do but vote on this idea. What am I supposed to do? Do you have any idea the time it is going to take me to manually delete two contracts each from 748 candidates????
Please, make this a priority ASAP. I mean, I had previously thought that some of your interface was not really user friendly, but this takes the cake. Do you think that no one ever makes a mistake when assigning something? I assume most schools that are working with your software have anywhere from hundreds to thousands of students that they are assigning contracts to. I cannot believe this.
Relatively new customer, and finding this very necessary. One of our schools switch contracts during the enrollment season and they have ~600 kids. Removing even a fraction of that number record by record is very time consuming.
Especially because the screen resets to the top after each removal. So you have to scroll down constantly. Thanks.
