I'm confused why this is listed as Implemented, especially based on the idea's title. The implemented feature allows a school to set calendar as the default for the whole school, but does NOT allow students or faculty to save their preferences.

Should this be made into a new idea so it's not overlooked as "implemented?"

This has NOT been implemented. I went to Preferences in the Assignment Center and could not make a selection. Yes, I can toggle to calendar view, but I can't save that preference

When will we see this for students?

Hi - I'm not seeing where students and faculty can pick and choose to save the calendar view or this list view. Can you point me in the direction? I have numerous faculty members that would prefer their class Assignment pages to show the calendar (grid) view instead of the list view. Thanks!

I'm closing this out as we released the faculty version and we have a completely new design for student assignment center coming that we would want to get new feedback on, so we can open one specific to student needs at that time if needed. Thanks!

teacher preferences for list views (section assignments and assignment center) is going out in tomorrow's release. They will be able to choose their own defaults for due date filter, column to sort by and which publish statuses to include.

OUR DEFAULT VIEW IS TERRIBLE! I am not sure how this is set but it has changed since the end of lst year. The default for us is now a calendar view but it only shows that day for that class. My preference is the List view. Would it be possible to allow users to set their own view and date range. Day of, does not work for me.

Hi Angela. This wasn't resolved with the new release. I just got done dealing with support about it. In the implementation, "sticky" filters only stays set while the page is active. If the teacher navigates away from the LMS by closing the tab, it isn't saved. They need to be able to set the filter and SAVE it. Our teachers are currently navigating through dozens of tabs to manage their classes. We are always encouraging them to close unused tabs for computer performance while in online classes. This means they leave the LMS and come back upwards of 15-20 times a day. This means they have to reset the filter every time. PLEASE get this implemented. There are at least two other ideas on this same topic as well that should be merged.

Hi all for faculty this should have been resolved with our recent release of the new assignment center - it should remember once the faculty puts their filters in place the next time they come to it it should be sticky. The default prior to them changing it to their preferred view (default set at the admin level) is still there, but if the teacher changes it then it should remember.

Also, when in list view for a class, have a preference to show the most recent and ONLY show this term's assignments.

It is odd that the Save view for Calendars, but not the Assignment Center.

Or at the very least let us set the assignment view by division. Our HS wants it one way, MS another. 

Our teachers are also asking for a way to save their preferred Assignment Center view.
