Faculty Class Assignment View Merged

I would like teachers to have the option to make the default view for their course page assignment the Calendar view (rather than the list).

I never go to the assignment center. It is too overwhelming. I want to be able to grade one period at a time. I would like the newest assignments at the top (like a photo stream).

Please allow teachers to save the view of their choice!  Every time they open their assignment page, it may take a few clicks to get to the view they prefer. A "save view" would be incredibly helpful!

+1 for allowing teachers to save their default view on the assignments page. It could work similarly to how a user can choose "Save My View" on the Calendar.

Example: I want to view and grade my student's submissions for an assignment that they submitted yesterday. These are the current steps I have to take if I want to use the "Assignments" page for the class:

    1. Go to the class
    2. Go to Assignments
    3. Change "Date View" to "Previous"
    4. Change "View" to "Sortable Order"
    5. Click on "Due" to organize with most recent on top.

Many of our teacher do opt to use the "Assignments" page rather than the "Assignment Center" when it comes to viewing and grading student work because they like to work through one class (period) at a time.

It would be nice if they could choose all the view options and have them stay as default for them.  I have teachers who would LOVE to have all assignments listed with newest at the top and oldest at the bottom each time they hit the assignment center.
