Report that audits changes to student schedules

I would like a report or list that shows more than just section changes or course drops - some students add classes without dropping any and I want to track all changes. Also, we want to include 'schedule error' type changes made to Students in this report.

We need to have a change audit log to track who is making edits to the daily schedule calendar. Every product of this size and number of users should have audit logs for us to perform investigative work.

Our school is looking for a way to track course changes/drops/adds for students, who made it and on what date. We are looking at trends from students and training opportunities from employees. It is essential in 12th Graders final semester, that they do not drop a core course, hence preventing graduation. Although a Report would be a good tool, I would find more value in as similar audit view of "impersonation" in Admin > Security > Audit History. Thanks Blackbaud for listening and making this request a priority.

I cannot even believe this systems does not have a built in log for student schedule changes. I used this every day from when the master schedule was built until the 3 week of school. Please tell me that they are have this in the development process.

This needs to be included in scheduling. When there was only one person in charge of schedule changes (me!) it was not a huge need, but as we have transitioned to multiple users making changes, having an audit log has become imperative.

If a course is dropped/changed using "manage classes," the system tracks it, however if a course is dropped/changed from an individual student's schedule (edit enrollments>student enrollment) the system does not track it at all. About 99% of our schedule changes are done within the student's schedule and we NEED to have a record of these. Manually keeping track of this is yet another reason this scheduling software is not working for us.

This should already exists for any software use by higher ed. There are reporting requirements and compliance issues that occur because this is not available.

Agreed. I want to see all changes, who made them and when.

It's nice that I can create an advanced list that shows some information regarding dropped courses. But it would be nice to easily see if a course was added as a replacement. A way to tell what changes were made to the schedule.

Agreed! EE had a date from which you could set and any drops, adds or changes were tracked.

And if possible, include "who" enrolled them in the classes to begin with.
