In particular, for our language courses, the teachers often like to record audio clips that help students hear how words or phrases are meant to sound. Additionally, students are assigned audio homework--they need to record themselves speaking whatever the assignment directs them to. AND, teachers like to provide audio feedback for those assignments. Other LMS have the capacity to record directly into the assignment and directly into the feedback. We would like this feature.
Re-upping again. I see this as an accessibility issue for some students to be able to offer feedback through multiple modalities. I am also convinced that given the labor of expressing feedback only in narrative written form and the labor involved means teachers lean into giving less feedback--the audio dimension also also for feedback to be mire timely, specific and consistent. Would work well in arts and movement classes in addition to language classes.
Re-upping this one. Our World Languages teachers in particular would like the ability to leave voice memos as feedback on student assignments.
