It would be helpful to have the ability to assign co-teachers to a class while restricting their ability to modify grades.  This would allow us, for example, to assign a substitute who could take attendance and view the days assignment details, but not run the risk of them modifying grades unintentionally or intentionally. 

This is particularly important because the system does not keep a history of grade changes that the teacher can review.  (this would be helpful regardless)
