Allow teachers to run a SIMPLE report list of all the Missing Assignments from students in their courses.

It is much more helpful for teachers to see a list of ALL the missing assignments they have recorded in their gradebook with a few button clicks.  In order to see this information now, you must click through every assignment, or open the gradebook view.  It would be helpful for a teacher/administrator to be able to run this report at the beginning of the class day, to remind the teacher to notify/remind that particular student when they come to class.

The ability to run a master list of all missing assignments.

By division for a Gradebook Manager.

By teacher for a Gradebook Manager or as the individual teacher. A version of the teacher's Gradebook > Reports > Missing Assignments only for all sections not just the active gradebook.

Hi @Megan Day we do have a story in our current development sprint to change the data to be only assignments from the viewing teacher's classes in the report - it will still be all of their classes not just the one launched from as we have requests for teachers not to have to run each one separately from each of their sections. But will weed out other teachers' classes and assignments. In the meantime since it exports to excel and does contain the class column in it they can filter on theirs to get that list.

Unfortunately what was just implemented is a list of ALL missing assignments for all the kids who are in your class, not missing assignments FROM your class. The last thing I need is more information from other classes.

An update happened that allows teachers to see a list of missing assignments for their students in their roster. However, it shows the missing assignments for all of their students' classes. This isn't very helpful for our teachers. They want to easily get a list of the missing assignments their students are missing in THEIR class. Our Bio teacher doesn't want to see the 10 missing assignments their students have in their math/english/religion classes.

@Anglea Addison , It would be great if we could have this report under Academics Assignment reports so we can run for a whole division.

Yes, our Learning Resources personnel and Academic Deans would love to have easy access to all Missing Work by Student through a Report similar to the Incomplete/ungraded reports.

It would be really great if teachers could run a report like this from the Reports block under Faculty. They could choose to view all of the missing assignments for all of their classes (Academics) instead of having to run a missing assignments report from the gradebook of each class separately. Thank you for considering this!

Hi @Crissy Huffman, we released yesterday the ability for advisors to export the data in the missing assignments feature under advisory groups to a spreadsheet, hopefully that helps! If you need it at an administrative level for someone to run across all advisory groups would you let me know where you think that would live? I can look into extending what we already did across all data, just not sure where the appropriate launch point for an admin would be.

Any update on this? I really need to see all missing assignments for my entire division. This is the #1 thing parents complain about - because we have a study hall and advisors are unable to have see what their students are missing unless we run a report one by one. This needs to be at the admin level so I can monitor all my students - especially as we are navigating on and off campus learning. It is in the system I can't pull missing even into an advanced list. Making that field available isn't easy for all but would be a start.

Unless you impersonate the teacher there is no way to see that Missing Assignments report. Administrators/counselors need to be able to see that info as well. It's been made available to teachers, students, and now it needs to be available to admin.

Ok understood thanks for the clarification! Will talk with the team here and see what we can do. Stay well!

While it's nice to be able to see it by class, we really would like it to be something that is one report that shows missing assignments across all classes. This is so helpful for people like me who teach over 10 classes.

Angela, in our case, we need a report that the counselor can run all at once for all students in the division. Specifically, tagging X number of missing assignments.

Before in Education edge I could run a report we paid you to create and that would tell me every student in the school by grade, by teacher. We were very successful keeping track of students this way, and you said it would be available when we upgraded to the oN platform. Now it is a huge time sink. If you can do it for one teacher, why can't you just have the program continue to include all teachers

Hi there, we have a missing assignments by student report that you can run from gradebook, is this not sufficient? Thanks!

I agree. We had this report with Education Edge and were assured it would be available in K-12 but alas it was not. We relied greatly on it.

This would be a big help for teachers but also for the guys in the dorms to hold the students accountable during study hours especially when they say they don't have any homework.
