Teachers look in their gradebooks for missing assignments. A student may submit the assignment via online submission. They have to toggle away from the gradebook to the assignments tab in order to find the assignment and see if something was turned in. They would like to just click the title of the assignment and be brought to the grading screen to see if the document has been submitted, so it can be downloaded and graded!
I'm excited to share that teachers can view and annotate student assignment submissions right from the gradebook. Check out this 1-minute video for a walkthrough!
Hi there, completely agree and can't wait to get our new gradebook out. At that point you will be able to open submissions from there. Unfortunately we likely won't be releasing that until next summer due to the size of the project and sensitivity around releasing major overhauls during the school year. But it will come!
Please, please, please! Whether an assignment is late, or whether we are writing comments and trying to get a better sense of students, it would be so incredibly, beyond belief, life changing better, if you could click on the submission in a grade book and it sent you to the page that had the submission.
