Currently we have many mixed classes (Honors and Regular in the same section). Our GPA plans are 4.0 scale for regular and 4.5 scale for Honors. At present we cannot have one unified section or grade book for both kind of students. This means that teachers of mixed classes have to run and maintain two different class pages and grade books for the same section of students. So if a teachers has 6 mixed classes, they have to manage 12 class pages and grade books. This is EXTREMELY inefficient and could likely be solved by allowing course distinctions to be attached to grade plans.
How many votes do we need for action to happen? This would be a game-changer for my teachers in terms of time spent managing courses.

This would help us too, but only if the transcript indicated Honors for the Honors Classes.

Or- perhaps there could be an option to add gpa weight for a course that has the honors distinction

AGREED! It would also be helpful to have some sort of distinction on the roster so the teacher knew which level each student was in.

We have a similar problem with students taking the same class as required vs. optional, which have different course codes. The students all meet at the same place and same time for the same class. However, right now we have to create separate classes so it would be great if they could be joined into one class page.

This is an excellent idea, and I don’t know why the choice to link honors and regular classes hasn’t already been provided in a program as high quality as Blackbaud.

Agreed - my honors and non-honors students meet in the same room at the same time, but I have to maintain separate classes in OnCampus.
