Came to Idea Bank specifically looking for this idea or to create my own after a teacher sent me an email asking if she could sort the Faculty > Classes menu to see her classes in Block/Period order rather than alphabetically. Particularly because the section number is featured prominently in the class title, it gets confusing at first glance when a teacher thinks they are opening 'Period' 3 when really they are opening 'Section' 3 of Period 2. Honestly, all teachers think in Block/Period order by default to match their teaching schedule, so if anything, that should be the default sort. However, it would be nice to have sorting options available for those teachers who may wish to see an alphabetical view.
