Projects are still assessed with rubrics in many of our classes - we'd like to still have the option of using a rubric if we're also using the CBE gradebook without having to create a duplicate assignment as was suggested in our class
Quick update on this Idea. With tomorrow's release, we'll be unlocking the ability to associate rubrics that are graded via Mastery and Total Points, so this should give you all a little more flexibility when it comes to grading assignments.
With this update, assignments that are evaluated just via Mastery will still not be able to utilize Rubrics. That update requires a more foundational update to both the Mastery and Rubric features. It's something we would like to implement in the future, but it will not be included in the update going out tomorrow.
We also have many use case scenarios where a teacher would like to associate a rubric with each of the CBE skills for an assignment. Currently, the rubric tool only works if you grade with points only and don't associate any CBE skills.

My school wants to use CBE and very much would like to incorporate rubrics along with mastery. Please change the coding so this is possible.
