If a teacher allows resubmission or changes file submission types, it automatically deletes all previously submitted work and comments on that work while the grades remain. This should not occur as sometimes this is done in error. A teacher has just lost 10 hours worth of work because they accidently changed 1 setting. At minimum, the system should have a warning before action can occur when it is something that can delete previous student work.
