Add ability for faculty to set preference for default setting for Publish field
Our default setting for when to publish an assignment is "Now". I am usually creating my assignments in advance and don't want my students to be notified or have an assignment appear on the calendar. It takes extra clicks and therefore extra time to change the setting to "Assigned Date" on every assignment I create. I would like the ability to customize the default for the Publish field.

One piece that is still missing is the teachers' ability to set a default for publishing assignments. Please consider adding this feature to the Assignment Preferences! There are several other Ideas related to this functionality:

Yes PLEASE! Also, when creating a multiple-instance assignment, the child instances still default to publishing "Now" even when the parent instance is set to publish on "Assigned Date." For teachers who like to create a whole series of assignments this is a lot of changes to make by hand!
