It does not appear that employees with Learning Profile roles can be filtered to just their school level. Example, we don't necessarily want our Lower School Learning Specialist to have access to review/approve learning profiles and vice versa.

Blackbaud should consider adding "school level" permissions to the Learning Profile Manager role to enhance flexibility, efficiency, and compliance in managing student data. Currently, the lack of granular permissions limits administrators’ ability to delegate responsibilities effectively across multiple schools within the same organization. This limitation becomes especially problematic when managing learning profiles that include medical diagnoses or accommodations, as inappropriate access to this sensitive information could lead to serious legal and privacy violations under laws like FERPA, HIPAA, or GDPR.
Adding school-level permissions would enable school-specific staff to access and manage learning profiles relevant only to their campus, reducing the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access. Furthermore, this change would support organizations with diverse structures, making Blackbaud more versatile and attractive to multi-campus institutions. By implementing school-level permissions, Blackbaud can better meet the unique needs of its diverse client base while promoting compliance, streamlined workflows, and better user satisfaction.
