Ability to choose expanded text editor controls as default with new text editing feature
When adding text, I almost always have to expand the editing menu to enable the additional controls. The extra click is annoying and also slows my productivity when I have to add a lot of next text, especially at the beginning of the school year.

One complaint from my teachers is by the time they expand the TinyMCE to add the text formatting ribbon, it only leaves about three lines of text visible to do the editing which isn't enough. They want an ability to expand the text field window to see more text while editing.
Hi all, we use a 3rd party tool called TinyMCE. They control their product and it's features/functionality not our developers. We are not able to revert to the old version because a) it was if not the oldest version just about and no longer supported by TinyMCE. b) it had security risks in how it was developed that were corrected in later versions and so we had to upgrade in order to eliminate that risk from our portfolio. I am working with that company to see if we can upgrade our licensing for a paid subscription that hopefully has improved functionality as there are a few things in the open source version that were on that aren't available any longer without paid subscription. Hope to know more on that soon.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING THE OLD TEXT EDITOR BACK! This change was made to make for a sleeker look but it's horrible. The extra click is nonsense. It slows productivity. Please revert to the original text editor program.
This new text editor is really, really annoying. I agree, it mandates an extra click every time we're in the editor and slows productivity. The developers should try adding 30 calendar events, and having to have that extra click 30 times. Please revert to the original text editor program. This new one is NOT an improvement at all but rather a huge step back.
