Enhance Front- End Search Functionality Merged

I personally feel should be a bug or support issue; however, I have been told that is not the case. Hopefully we can get enough upvotes to have this issue on the list of enhancements.

The front-end search functionality leaves a lot to be desired. For example, this morning I wanted to find the link for an article we wrote last year about the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course. Using our search function, I could find nothing for Theory of or TOK, even though our 2014 news content category is on a page.

I had to log in, switch to Faculty, and use the internal search feature to find the name and date of the article. However,I couldn't' copy and paste the link because it would prompt you for a login, and I needed the link for an external blog post. So, I switched to onmessage, went into our news category, and clicked back in 2014 until I came to the date the article was published. Then I copied the link. How frustrating! I can only imagine how folks looking for our articles handle finding posts they know were published in the past.

Here's the link to the article, by the way: http://www.cheshireacademy.org/page/News-Detail?pk=930843

This causes a poor user experience for our constituents too, in that they want to search for articles on their children, which we publish often, and are unable to do so. A site search function should search the ENTIRE site, and all the content. We have numerous situations where we are unable to find information via the search function; yet the information can be found via a Google search. Not good.
