I'd like to be able to set the news archive page to show most recent regardless of year

When the new year rolled over it caused our archive pages to display no content because it was defaulting to the new year where no content had yet been posted, causing confusion for constituents. I'd like the new archive to not automatically hide the previous years posts.

    and P.S. I mean on the public side of the site / onmessage, as I see the Resource Board news archive is set for the school year. http://www.hopkins.edu/page/news-archive

    As the new year just rolled over to 2017, I'm faced with this issue as well. But I see it hasn't moved since last year... this would be a handy update!!

    Specifically I would like the News Archive to display the Current Academic School Year not the Current Calendar Year
