Adding Students with Free Blocks to Study Halls Automatically

I would like for the Schedule to Schedule Students with Free Blocks into Study Halls. Currently, this can be completed as a manual process by generating reports to bring back free periods for students or going into the student record to add the study hall, but I would like for it to be a Automatic process.

    First point:

We should be able to load ANY COURSE into free periods.

    Second point:

This is now our fifth time doing a schedule in BEM and I am really surprised that this has not been implemented.

It takes our smartest scheduling guru DAYS at a critical time to do something that would take LESS THAN A MINUTE if this feature would be implemented. [as it was in EE, some 20 years ago, BTW]

I'd also be willing to bet BB's customers have spent hundreds of times more hours doing this process than it would have taken a software engineer to implement it.

    C'mon, BB.

I agree with Michael Petrella. The lack of this feature in SIS is extremely time consuming. There has to be a better way. I have to perform this procedure for both MS and US. Students have multiple study halls during a ten-day cycle.

This was a standard feature in EE. Why it was omitted from the newer SIS is a mystery. Adding study halls manually is cumbersome and time consuming.

I have to schedule one study per block in a 2 week rotating schedule. That means scheduling 56 blocks separately
