We have students from a neighboring "sister school" come to our all-boys school to take classes that may not be offered at their school. However, when we do GPA calculations and ranking by Grade Level, the girls get ranked with the boys. Grade Calculation already has a drop-down for "Selected students to include", but grade level is the only choice. If "by list" was an option (similar to Print Report Cards), we could build a list of Males in Grade 12 and do the calculation/ranking just for students in the list. We tried a "workaround" that involved removing the semester/final grades from the girls and recalculating, but the ranks still appear for the girls anyway.
Rick, if you have not already come up with a solution to this issue, you could create a second 12th-grade level where only the girls are included. Then, you can treat the grades as one for all other tasks but exclude the grade of girls from the calculations.
