Display a Custom Message to Families Excluded from Viewing Report Cards/Transcripts Merged

We would like the ability to display a customized message to families that have been excluded from viewing report cards and transcripts. For the couple of parents that had their student reports on the exclusion list, they simply clicked on the report and nothing loaded. It would be nice for there to be some kind of message other than the link just not working.

I agree!  We would like to be able to create a custom message that would automatically appear if a family is excluded from viewing report cards/transcripts.  Please consider!

Yes!  Two reasons why this is important:

    1. Tech staff, teachers, and others are put in uncomfortable, inappropriate situations because they are approached by students thinking this is a tech issue (we grant student access to report cards).

    Maybe more importantly:

    2. Our tech-savvy students have figured out that the "greyed-out" link can be copied, and then pasted into a browser window. With a tweak or two, they can see their report card.  So, this method does not work.

Replacing the link with a message like "Please call XXX-XXXX" would solve both of those problems.
