Currently the student schedule shows the course name, the section name, and the block. Our sections are named after the blocks to avoid any "value" association, so students see a listing like English-Block 1 (Block 1).
I'm not sure why the schedule would ever need to reflect the section ID, which is an administrative function and not info the student needs. To be honest, I'm not certain the block name needs to be visible either, since the schedule is already showing the meeting time. Their schedule view would be much tidier without this extra info!
Optimally this would be customizable by the school, if others use this info differently.
