Currently, mastery skills are displayed across site pages based on the order in which they were added to the system. If skills are added via data import, the system determines the order and does not necessarily adhere to the order in which the skills are listed on the CSV file.

We expected to use the Code field to help order and prioritize skills for teachers and students, however, the Code field does not influence their order and seems to lack any meaningful value. There is nothing that can be done to organize the display order of skills after they are added/imported into the system. (Adding a numerical value at the beginning of each skill does not help.) I am told that the only option to edit the skill order is to manually remove/inactivate existing skills and re-add them. This is not feasibly accomplished once skills are in use.

Schools should have the option to organize and prioritize the skill display order from the Mastery skill settings pages; whether through the use of the Code field or some other alternative method.
